Zi Xiu Tang (ZXT) is a popular weight loss pill created by scientists in China. ZXT bee pollen capsules promise to improve immunity, increase metabolism, boost energy and help you to lose weight rapidly. ZXT dieters are directed to take two capsules each morning with water, and dieters begin to lose weight due to the pills laxative effects.
Although dieters experience fast and rapid weight loss results, ZXT weight loss pills have not been declared safe by American doctors, researchers or by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Despite the natural ingredients ZXT, the manufacturer Floyd Nutrition fails to provide consumers with an exact daily value and quantitation value for the ingredients listed. This failure can lead to a host of unexpected medical emergencies such as kidney or liver failure – even death.
Zi Xiu Tang Side Effects
The benefits of bee pollen is very promising but this is all about a product that does not really contain the said substance. But instead of bee pollen, it contains different types of ingredients which are radish seeds, wolf berry fruit, Chinese yam, lotus seed, malt, herbs and some kind of tea leaves.
Here’s the worst part about the Zi Xiu product. There were several consumer complaints of side effects upon consumption. Majority of the filed complaints about its side effect was stomach upset. According to FDA, other adverse side effects of the product includes the following:
- Anxiety
- Insomnia
- Chest pain
- Suicidal thoughts
- Increased heart rate
- Heart palpitations
- Seizure
- Increase blood pressure
Further investigation of the product’s ingredient by the authorities, they had found out that there were hidden dangerous artificial chemicals.
The Dangerous Ingredients of Zi Xiu
FDA took their actions where they analyzed 15 different products of the Zi Xiu Tang Bee Pollen products. They took their sample from various distributors including those that were known as genuine. Unfortunately, the lab test result showed two undeclared ingredients which are “sibutramine” and “phenolphthalein”.
Sibutramine
Sibutramine is a dangerous substance when ingested. It is for this reason why it was removed from the market back in October 2010. When consumed, this will increase the risk of potential heart attack so as stroke. It is even a lot riskier for people who have history of diseases related to heart problems.
Phenolpthalein
Phenolpthalein is another dangerous substance when consumed by the human body. Previous studies found out that it causes cancer. Thus, it was long banned in the United States. FDA even classified it as “not safe and ineffective”.
